These artworks were commissioned by a centre caring for dementia and frail care patients. The project was done together with ARC Studios responsible for the interior decorating.

 

The artworks needed to be visually stimulating to the viewer by creating a pleasant atmosphere and evoking happy memories, using colourful textures, and patterning as well as incorporating familiar imagery. The 3-D artwork are constructed in such a manner encouraging interaction without being destroyed and without being harmful to the viewer. The abstract organic assemblage of fibres, fabric, plastic, found objects, and various imagery form a stimulating focus. The artwork are executed in various vibrant colours as well as black and white creating interesting contrast.
