A map tells a story; not just factual information, but also the cartographer’s story.
Taking inspirations from a phrase in a novel:
"....There is a halfway world between each ending and each new beginning. It's called the hurting time. ...... It's a bog; it's where your dreams and worries and forgotten plans gather. Your steps (become) heavier during that time. Don't under estimate the transition...between farewell and new departure. Give yourself the time you need. Some thresholds are too wide to be taken in one stride."
Reminding us that some things are never meant to be, forever hampered by deal-breakers. It is all a fleeting infatuation. Some bridges we have to cross start to crumble and drift away in the current and we realise that soon the divide would be unfathomable to cross, even for good swimmers.
