The small 3-D artwork represents an old television set with an image of an atomic bomb exploding in the background with the dancing guys in the front and some of the lyrics of the song, creating some depth due to the different layers. It aims to describe the my feeling of desperation.
Taking inspiration from the song by Capital Cities called Safe and Sound. The original feel-good music video is captured by the trumpet's solo.
Reminiscing past memories, aiming to capture the bitter-sweet emotions while listening to this song in the last quarter of 2015. The happy dancing people in the music video taunting: "You will never be this happy!".
In an alternative music video, happy dancing people are contrasted against bombs exploding, capturing my own bizarre emotions at that time. The duality of death and disaster juxtaposed against happiness. A stark reminder that one never knows when one will be flipped from the one side to the other side of the same coin.
I could lift you up
I could show you what you wanna see
And take you where you wanna be
You could be my luck
Even if the sky is falling down
I know that we'll be safe and sound
We're safe and sound
Chin up! Life is short and we have to live in the moment. Embrace the past and remember the following:
"If you don't let go of your past, it will strangle your future!"
