A small work serving as memory and shrine to the past life of an office worker.

This small diorama is representative of the famous depictions of Expulsion from Paradise by Renaissance artists. The figurines once took a prime position on the divider of my open-plan office. They are part of my former life as an 8-to-5 office worker. They are a stark reminder of a life that once was. A reminder of happy times as well as a lot of hardship experienced in the confines and security of a very small office desk inside a bigger office space.

We had joy, we had fun
We had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed
Were just seasons out of time
